Project Management / Contract
Administration
The management of projects from inception
to completion, including the provision of advice on:-
- The appointment of architects, engineers and other
professional consultants.
- Procurement methods.
- Design requirements and compliance with the Building
Regulations, Town and Country Planning legislation, the DDA and
other relevant legislation.
- Party Wall matters and other boundary/adjacent property
issues.
- The selection of suitable contractors.
- The appropriate form of contract.
- Programme.
- Project strategy.
- Risk mapping.
The role of Contract Administrator includes
certain of the above activities, but focuses simply on the running
of a project where a design team already exists. An important part
of both the Project Management and Contract Administration services
offered by Sutherland Consulting is the preparation of appropriate
formal contract documentation.
